Water from the Pacific

On Day 88 we rowed over the Tonga Trench, the deepest water of the crossing. We switched on the watermaker and filled an empty olive oil bottle from the ocean beneath us.

Mixed with ink

Back home, we tinted the water with ink in three different blues, one for each brother.

Three drops on every bookplate, laid by hand with a pipette. The paper blooms each one differently, so no two copies are the same.
